Las Vegas Children's Museum

Kirk and Scott and I went to the Las Vegas Children's Museum and the zoo with Shellie's family over the weekend. The zoo is just a little thing - but that was perfect for the little kids with lots of petting, feeding and chasing animals. The children's museum was a great place with two floors full of interesting things for kids of all ages to do. George's brother Alan and his kids came (Alan especially loved the wind chamber hair effects), and so did George's Mom Flory. We all had a great time!

Made in the Shade

When our kids were little the travel porta-potty was an empty milk jug (Kirk didn't even want to stop long enough to find a tree). Now days Shellie's kids have it made in the shade.

Abby's Three!

We had such a fun weekend in Las Vegas with Shellie's family celebrating Abby's Birthday. Can't believe she's three - wasn't it just the other day we were there for her big 2-yr old bash? This is her first school picture - preschool that is. She looks like she could be five or six in this picture. We gave Abby a CD with Mickey Mouse songs on it with her name sung in every song. Shellie said she loves singing it and gets a big kick out of hearing her name sung by Mickey. It should get her all psyched up for Disneyland this summer.

Fiddler on the Roof

Shellie and I travelled to Salt Lake to watch our good friends from our Kearns days, Steve and Jonathan McBride in Fiddler on the Roof at the Hale Center Theatre. The production was wonderful and Steve and Jon did a great job. They have performed at the Hale Center many times - pretty talented guys!
