What Happened to our Cabin?

Looks like it will be a while before we can get in to the cabin this year - and more snow is expected tonight! But after the last five or six years of drought, how can we complain? It's too bad we're not cold weather people - the snowmobiling is great up there now!

Holy cow!!! Glad I'm not there!! I hope that the snow melts before May or June so that I can get one visit in before I have the baby.

Kirk was telling us about it, but these pictures are amazing! I never would have pictured it to be THAT MUCH snow! I would love to go see it in person!

Snowmobiling would be great fun you could snowmobile right to the door not that you could open the door. That is really crazy to think that there is that much snow up there. Are the roads cleared is that how you made it up there?

We didn't go to the cabin - we're too whimpy - but Dean Cox, our Kolob neighbor, took these photos. He went snowmobiling and said it was a blast! The road is "groomed" clear up to the Kolob Mtn Ranch turnoff (about 1. mile from our cabin) - and then they park cars and snowmobile in the rest of the way. Do you think it would claustrophobic to shovel our way in the front door and stay in the cabin? Anyone game to try?
