O.K., so I'm no poet, but I forgot to post something on Garret's actual birthday, since we celebrated two weeks early—is that a good enough excuse? Garret is such a fun grandson - he is full of life - full of it! (reminds me of a poem I wrote about his Daddy). He loves to sing rock songs, made-up songs, and Primary songs. He's a great dancer, gymnast, and rock climber, too. He is good to talk to us on the phone about his day or to say thanks, or to ask when we're coming to visit. He is very loving to us and gives great hugs . . . oh, maybe I could re-do the limerick:
There is a cute boy — Garret Carrot
who lives so far away I can't bear it!
Besides catching bugs
He gives great big hugs
He'll be an American Idol someday - I swear it!
Love you Garret!

Cute post about Garret. I remember the poem about "Mikey Tom." It helps me to remember when my boys get a little rambunctious, that you were a "Wonder Mama" and your boys turned out wonderful. (sorry about the Wonder Mama comment, but I can say that since I had to endure the razzing about my "Milk" comments at the dinner table.)
