Fun with Mike and Bri's Family in D.C.
I had a great time in Washington D.C. visiting Mike, Bri, Trent and Garret. We did simple things with the kids that I can't do with them so far away - we went to Trent's T-Ball practice (Mike and Bri are his coaches), had Garret's 4th birthday party, spent a lot of time at the park, and at the river catching minnows and looking for weird bugs under rocks. Trent and Garret and I even had a sleep-over at a hotel (3 of us in a king size bed eating crackers and playing Crazy 8's). It was all great. Christan, Bailey and Corbin came too, to visit Kenny. It's really fun seeing the cousins having fun together. The only real sight-seeing thing we did was go to the D.C. Temple and Visitor's Center on Sunday afternoon. Kirk is looking forward to going along next time - probably in August to combine seeing Mike and Bri's new baby and for Kenny's graduation.

Looks like you had a great time can't wait to hear about it at our seafood fest on Friday.
Sounds like fun!
Glad that Kenny's fam was able to go also!
Joan and Kirk: Thanks for stopping by our blog for sec. It's great to hear from you and see these pictures. Everybody looks great. Hard to believe it has been 25 years since we moved from Kearns.

Looks like you had a great time hanging with your grandkids. I must say, all of your grandkids are so adorable and sweet.
Joan, It looks like you've been a busy grandma lately, too. I bet you had so much fun visiting Mike and Bri and boys. I'm jealous...I love Washington, D.C.! It's beautiful there. Next time we go, we'll go to D.C. Temple, too.
You're such a lucky G-Ma! Love, Bob and Ree
